Finally here

So Iv'e been meaning to start this blog for ages but just havent had the time. But I am finally doing it!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!
So let me tell you a bit about myself- I am first of all a mother to a beautiful 5 year old princess and a 13year old Staffordshire bullterrier. I Have the most amazing family who live in South Africa, thank God for Skype I get to see them all the time. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis about 3 years ago and have been living with it ever since. Prior to being diagnosed I had never even heard about it(actually thats a lie-my half sister had just been diagnosed a few moths before me). This is my story

My pretty princess

September 2009 I got a job at a private dental practice training to be a dental nurse and eventually receptionist, but i was generally involved in the nursing side of things. It was a great job, I was working withn an amazing Dentist from South Africa who was really patient with me as I had never done the job before!!!!! I was travelling 30-40 minutes on the bus to get Eva to nursery and then myself into work. This worked fine for a couple of months until the end of november/early december when I started noticing how tired I was feeling all the time and I would get serious joint pain in my hands when trying to hold the suction or assist the dentist on patients.(The Dentist was starting to really worry about my crazyhands close to pts mouths) I just put it down to working 30+ hours a week and travelling everyday. I found myself calling in sick constantly at work and was really starting to worry as I didnt know what was going on with my body. I kept getting chest pains and got an appointment to see a doctor who told me it was just a chest infection, but i knew it wasnt as i had previously had a chest infection without the chest pain!!!! Something is Wrong!!!! I could feel it!!!!One Thursday morning i woke up to get myself and my lil diva ready for the day ahead but my was terrified to find my whole right hand side of my body was completely knumb, from head to toe. Thats when I decided I needed to see my own doctor and tell her my concerns. From here the testing began- I felt like a lab rat-
